The fifth edition of the program started in 2016. With this edition SAP Labs Bulgaria and Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation wanted to place a particular emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. The program objective is to stimulate the interests of students in science and technology but also to provide a field for the practical application of knowledge and skills gained. A total of 19 school boards applied for the fifth edition of the program. Nine of them were approved and received funding to implement projects in the field of STEM. In July 2016 ended the previous fourth round of projects realized by 11 school boards. As a result, more than 5 000 students from secondary schools with limited access to quality educational resources improved their performance in school and received professional guidance through initiatives in the field of STEM. Knowledge for Success program is implemented with the financial support of SAP Labs Bulgaria.
