The fund aims to provide development resources for the students and teachers of 18 secondary schools.

On 28 June 2016, the BOYA Fund was established at the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation. The Fund aims to provide development resources to the students and teachers of 18 secondary schools. To achieve this goal, the Fund will support initiatives that:

Create an appropriate learning environment in order to increase student success in learning new knowledge;
Identify and motivate students’ strengths;
Support the development of school teachers to improve the quality of education in schools;
Stimulate the creation of active citizenship;
Teach tolerance and respect for the rights of the other.

The Fund is managed by a Public Council composed of:

Monika Hristova, Member of the Board of Trustees of the WCIF

Iliyana Nikolova – Executive Director of WCIF
