Voices Fund
Supports initiatives to reduce school violence through art

Bulgaria ranks third in the world for school violence. According to a study by the European Network against Child Aggression, one in two secondary school pupils in Bulgaria has witnessed violence at school and one in three has been a victim. In response to these alarming statistics, the People’s Choir “Cosmic Voices from Bulgaria” established the Voices Fund at the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation.

As part of the Fund, the women’s folk choir Cosmic Voices of Bulgaria organizes benefit concerts. The funds raised will be directed to the implementation of initiatives for the prevention of violence in schools and or intervention of children and young people who exhibit aggressive behaviour.
