The Mathematics and Informatics Fund aims to stimulate the development of mathematics and informatics in Bulgaria by creating opportunities to support the professional and scientific development of teachers, students, teachers, students and organizing scientific and educational initiatives.

The Fund is a continuation of the activities of the MIF Initiatives Fund

Activities:

To achieve its objective, the Fund:

– Provide financial support to outstanding students and teachers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University;

– supports with partial scholarships the students approved by the committee for nomination for study abroad under the mobility programmes of the MIF and SU (according to the established internal rules of the MIF committee);

– carries out various programmes and initiatives aimed at raising the profile of the MIF and Sofia University. The following activities and initiatives have been undertaken by the MIF and Sofia University;

– funds and organises educational programmes and initiatives for students, young scientists and pupils in the field of mathematics and informatics;

– organise initiatives related to the career development of the MIF College (including students);

– organize, fund and implement other activities related to the objectives of the fund;
