The programme aims to help upper secondary students to succeed in the labour market by contributing to the development of their soft skills.
The programme is aimed at teachers who want to work with their students to enhance their employability.
The programme is one year long and provides:
(1) free two-day training including new knowledge presentation, practical teaching guidance and sharing opportunities;
(2) access to a set of lessons developed specifically for the purpose of the programme, including practical tasks for students;
(3) provision of mentoring support over the next academic year by SAP Labs Bulgaria staff;
(4) community sharing opportunities.
The topics on which teachers receive knowledge, skills and developed learning materials are:
- personal presentation, including on social networks;
- time management;
- critical thinking and problem solving,
- volunteering as an opportunity to build work skills, etc.
The Skills for Success programme is organized on the idea and initiative of SAP Labs Bulgaria and in partnership with the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation. The initiative was launched as a pilot in 2024 and aims to give teachers tools to stimulate their students to start acquiring different skills that will make them successful in life and their future careers.
