Ongoing competition for small projects

The competition provides grants of €10,000 to €25,000 for initiatives lasting 6 to 12 months. The first deadline for submission of project proposals is September 29, 2026, 23:59.

The competition focuses on projects that contribute to the sustainability of civil society in Bulgaria by protecting and promoting democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

The competition will support small projects with development potential – initiatives whose approaches, results and experience can be upgraded, replicated or expanded in the future, including through subsequent funding opportunities.
