About the Initiative
Lidl Bulgaria’s largest socially responsible initiative “You and Lidl for a Better Life”, which is implemented in partnership with Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation, has been transformed into “You and Lidl for Our Tomorrow”. The initiative supports socially significant projects of NGOs across the country and helps people in different regions of the country to lead a better and more fulfilling life.
Transformation
After five successful editions, in 2023 Lidl Bulgaria’s corporate responsibility program is transformed into “You and Lidl for our tomorrow”. The aim of this change is to respond effectively to new global and local challenges, to synchronize its actions as a business and as a corporate citizen in the field of sustainable development and to adapt the initiative to the current needs of local communities.
The changes cover the expansion of the thematic areas for which applications can be submitted, as well as the methodology, period, fund and visual identity of the program. As of this year, the application is also open to young people under the age of 18 in order to give greater visibility and support to the ideas of the younger generation.

While you do shopping, you help
This year, between 18 September and 18 October, Lidl Bulgari will donate 5 stotinki for every receipt in its 119 stores across the country. In this way, every customer of the chain will help to collect the funds for the program just while shopping.
The fund raised will be used to support socially relevant projects that help people in different regions of the country to lead a better and more fulfilling lifestyle.
Call for project proposals
In 2023, the call is open from 18 September to 23:59 on 28 October 2023.
Apply for funding by filling out the online form corresponding to the thematic area and your application. Proposals submitted by other means will not be considered.
