The young sporting hopes of the Football Club “Botev” from Novi Pazar are now training on a renovated football field, thanks to the project “Improving the training conditions of the children and youth school” of the Football Club “Botev” Association. The project not only improved the training conditions, but also inspired the love of sport in over 80 children and young people aged 6 to 15 from Novi Pazar.
More training for more success on the field
As part of the project, the soccer goals on the existing field were replaced and new soccer balls were purchased.
The refurbished goals are the right size for the age of the children, which not only improves the training process, but the children’s feel of the pitch is the same as in official matches.
On the other hand, thanks to the purchase of new balls, every child trains actively without waiting for a turn.
“We are very happy with the new goals and balls. With them, training has become even more enjoyable, and we can learn better what we love – football,” says ten-year-old Vasil – goalkeeper and captain of the children from Football 7.
Healthy spirit in a healthy body
The initiative not only develops the young players’ football skills but also encourages them to lead an active lifestyle. Physical activity and sport play a key role in children’s healthy development, helping them to build discipline, perseverance and responsibility and have fun at the same time.
“The children and young people are very happy with the new conditions, which is why they come to training with even greater desire and love for the sport,” says Yordan Milenov – Chairman of the Board of the Football Club “Botev” Association.
After the renovation of the field, more than 20 training sessions have been held, during which the children not only improve their sports skills, but also strengthen their physical health.
The project “Improvement of the training conditions of the children and youth at the soccer school” is one of the 8 projects implemented within the Pepcolandia program. The program is implemented for the first time in Bulgaria with the financial support of Pepco Bulgaria and in partnership with the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation. All supported initiatives are proposed by the company’s employees and targeted at children and youth from their communities.
