The third meeting for the “Code Success” Fund brought together more than 25 organizations from Burgas and the region

More than 25 civil society organizations from Burgas and the region took part in an information meeting for the competition under the “Code Success” fund. The event was held on March 11, 2026 at the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library.

Representatives of local organisations learned how they can apply for funding for initiatives aimed at strengthening democracy, European values and human rights at local level. The eligibility criteria, the steps for preparing and submitting project proposals, as well as the most common mistakes were presented.

In the second part of the meeting, a thematic session “Democracy and EU Values” was held. The participants received practical guidance and ideas on how to develop initiatives for civic participation and promotion of European values in the community.

Burgas is the third and last city in the series of face-to-face meetings after Sofia and Stara Zagora. Two online webinars were also held to help the candidates.

Useful materials for the competition procedure are published in the “Resources” section of the project website: https://pact.osis.bg/
