INSPIRE

INSPIRE

The objective of the INSPIRE project is to empower civil society organizations working on violence against children in Bulgaria to strengthen an integrated child protection system, to prevent and intervene in violence against children and to provide support to victims. The project includes the INSPIRE fund to provide targeted grant funding to CSOs, a training program to increase the capacity of the organizations, and a communication campaign to raise awareness of the issue.

  • INSPIRE Fund

The INSPIRE Fund will support, through targeted grant funding, projects of civil society organizations working in the field of prevention of violence against children and empowerment of victims of violence. These projects are at both national and local level.

  1. National – civil society organizations working at the national level for strategic communication to build zero tolerance to violence against children, advocacy for policy reform and dissemination of good practices on prevention and addressing the problem of violence against children.
  2. Local – civil society organizations working on issues of violence against children at the local level, including those in geographically remote communities and often far from the main cities. Organizations will receive targeted grant funding for projects aimed at improving a variety of services, implementing innovative approaches to preventing and responding to violence against children, improving collaboration with a variety of public authorities to prevent and respond to crises, and better communicating with the general public on violence issues.
  • INSPIRE Training program

The INSPIRE training program is targeted towards increasing the capacity of the supported organizations and includes a series of trainings.

  • Communication campaign
