WCIF announces the opening of an NGO Development Fund.

The fund objectives:
– To provide consulting and financial support to up to 20 Bulgarian NGOs in the development and successful implementation of economic activity
– To provide an opportunity for representatives of the approved organizations to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the field of planning, management and accountability of NGO business.
– To assist in the development of the organizational potential of NGOs.

The scheme of the Fund’s work will include training and a small grant for the development of a business plan, applying for a business loan to First Investment Bank, starting the business and implementing the goals and activities set out in the first year of the business plan, a second grant after the repayment of the bank loan.

The deadline for applications is 01.11.2005.
