Sofia opened the series of information meetings under the Code Success Fund

Representatives of 20 civil society organizations from Sofia and the region took part in the first information meeting on the competition of the Code Success Fund. The event was held on February 24 in the capital and gave the participants the opportunity to get acquainted in detail with the conditions and opportunities for application.

The meeting began with a thematic session on “Democracy and EU Values”, during which the role of civil society organizations in the promotion of democratic principles and the protection of human rights at local level were discussed.

In the second part, the participants went through the Guidelines for Application under the Success Fund, receiving clarifications on the requirements for project proposals and eligible activities. The organizers presented the application form with a proposal for a concept, and the attendees had the opportunity to ask specific questions and discuss their ideas.

Technical guidance was also provided for completing and submitting the concept form in order to facilitate the application process and improve the quality of the submitted proposals.

The meeting in Sofia is the first of a series of initiatives that the team of the Code Success Fund organizes in support of the candidates. On-site information meetings are to be held in two more Bulgarian cities – Stara Zagora and Burgas. Those interested can register for the meetings via this link.

Two webinars are also planned, for which pre-registration is also required at this link.
