The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will contribute to measuring, reporting and informing all relevant stakeholders – WCIF Board, WCIF Donors, different professional bodies, wider public, etc. about the impact of WCIF programs. The position provides exposure to WCIF key programs, thus reaching different organizations that are grantees, but also citizens, donors, public authorities, private sector representatives, etc.
The successful candidate:
- Has experience in project/program management;
- Is interested in working in a non-profit organization;
- Has a university degree in social science, humanities, law, or economics;
- Is fluent in English;
- Can write well in Bulgarian and English;
- Has analytical mindset;
- Is focused on detail;
- Is ready to learn;
- Is a good team player;
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Can work independently ;
- Is good with MS Word and Excel;
- Can travel;
- Is flexible and creative;
- Is proactive;
Main responsibilities:
- Project monitoring – developing monitoring framework for each specific program, planning monitoring visits to projects and organizations, drafting monitoring reports, reviewing submitted project reports, etc.;
- Preparing program monitoring and evaluation reports;
- Developing content for public use as part of the WCIF transparency and accountability for the funded projects.
- Preparation of program analyzes.
- Communication with different stakeholders.
